WoW ! This little guy has many things to teach to Sam Fisher ! Today is very special for me. After more than 30 years, I’ve decided to stop working on video games and fully focus on my second passion : Wild Life ! My new project takes place in the real world and consists in a wild life open sanctuary dedicated to education , nature lovers and … wild animals. 🎮🎮🎮 video games part 🎮🎮🎮 Many of you might want to know what will happen to Wild and BGE2. No worries, since many months now the teams are autonomous and the projects are going super well. Beautiful things to be seen soon. May the fox be with you 🦊
I wish him well in his retirement. There’s been a lot of very poor tales about Ubisoft, I’m sure people can look them up. I don’t think Michel Ancel has ever been stuck in any of the conflict. It would be nice if Ancel got the ball rolling on a brand-new Rayman game prior to him leaving, but that’s just my Rayman loving heart getting the best of me. I don’t see that ending well. Ubisoft will certainly just screw up. Rayman is not an AAA franchise any longer. I prefer to see the franchise dead than butchered by Ubisoft officers every single time.
Hopeful that Nintendo would rescue the franchise by buying the IP, but it’s doubtful. It’s a bit telling that he left before BG&E2 was finished, since in the past he was extremely passionate about it. This does cause some extreme skepticsim on the final product.
Yeah, this makes me believe those 2 projects were ending up in the dumpster fire and they couldn’t inspire him to at least remain there until they were completed or it’s just speculation on my part and he just really wanted to retire and do something else.
Anyhow, he’ll be remembered as one of the all time greats in Video Game History.
